All month long T.F.P. will be utilizing pictures we've taken at the Pinal County Historical Museum to offer a daily posting on our Facebook page. One of the most interesting exhibits on display at the museum is a collection of ropes that formerly hung near the gallows in Pinal County. Each person hung had their picture taken prior to their hanging. After their weight and height was established, a rope was fashioned for their execution. Once hung the individual was then cut down and his rope and picture was framed to hang in the gallows for the next to be executed to see. Edith Ann Oliver built the Oliver house in 1908 and the history began. including 26 confirmed deaths within its walls. From accidents, to murder, to suicide, the Oliver house hotel is no stranger to tragedy. Many of the spirits still wander the halls of the Oliver house, searching for answers they may never find. We were able to tap into the past and communicate with these souls in an all night lockdown.
