CAMP LOWELL HISTORY:
LOCATED ON FT. LOWELL RD. IN TUCSON ARIZONA LIES A HISTORIC ARMY BASE THAT WAS ORIGINALLY ESTABLISHED IN 1866 CALLED CAMP LOWELL. THE BASE WAS ESTABLISHED TO SUPPORT SUPPLY FUNCTIONS TO TUCSON AS WELL AS TO PROTECT THE RESIDENCE FROM GERONIMO AND THE APACHE INDIANS . THE MILITARY MEN WHO RESIDED IN THE FORT SUFFERED MANY HARDSHIPS, PARTICULARLY MALARIA. THE POST BECAME CONTAMINATED AND UNFIT LIVING CONDITIONS MADE IT HARD TO CONTROL RAMPANT DISEASE SPREAD. BY 1872 TUCSON WAS MUCH BETTER ESTABLISHED AND THE BASE WAS FORCED TO CLOSE.
THE INVESTIGATION:
BASED ON STORIES DATING BACK ALL THE WAY TO THE 1900's RELATING TO A SOLDIER SPIRIT STILL LINGERING THE PARK, WE PACKED OUR SUPPLIES AND HEADED OUT. I WAS VERY SURPRISED TO SEE THAT SOME OF THE ORIGINAL BUILDING ARE STILL IN TACT, BUT NOT ALL ARE ACCESSIBLE. I WAS FORTUNATELY ABLE TO ENTER THE OLD HOSPITAL/MORGUE BUILDING AND SNAP A FEW PHOTOS AS WELL AS DO SOME E.V.P. WORK. THOUGH I CAME UP WITH NOTHING ON AUDIO I DID NOTICE A STRANGE ORB PIC UPON MY EVIDENCE REVIEW. IT STOOD OUT BECAUSE OUT OF A LARGE NUMBER OF PHOTOS TAKEN I CAUGHT NO OTHER LIGHT ANOMALIES THROUGH THE NIGHT. BUT WHILE ASKING DIRECT QUESTIONS I CAPTURED A VERY DISTINCT BRIGHT ORB WITHIN THE HOSPITAL RUINS. IT HAD ALSO BEEN RAINING HEAVILY EARLIER KNOCKING THE AIRBORNE CONTAMINANTS DOWN TO ALMOST NOTHING AND CONTROLLING THE DUST PARTICLES. I CANT CALL THE PICTURE PARANORMAL, BUT IT DEFINITELY CAUGHT MY EYE, AND I KNOW MY EQUIPMENT VERY WELL. MY CAMERA IS NOT VERY SENSITIVE TO ENVIRONMENTAL CONTAMINATION. TAKE A LOOK AND DECIDE FOR YOURSELF! WE STAYED AT THIS LOCATION FROM AROUND 11:45 TILL ROUGHLY 2:30 AND NOTICED ON TWO OCCASIONS WHAT SOUNDED LIKE A NEARBY GUNSHOT OR BANG FROM SOMEWHERE WITHIN THE FORT AREA. WE COULD NOT DEBUNK THESE STRANGE NOISES AND THOUGHT WE WOULD SHARE THE OCCURRENCES. THE FORT IS DEFINITELY AN INTERESTING PLACE TO WANDER AND EXPLORE AND I HOPE TO AGAIN INVESTIGATE THIS LOCATION IN SEARCH OF THE PHANTOM SOLDIER THAT IS SAID TO PERIODICALLY MANIFEST HIMSELF.
